Our worst idea yet

Sometimes when you are trapped inside your house by government order, you look up things on youtube.

Sometimes those things are $300,000 RVs that are so ridiculous you laugh.

Sometimes you then end up wondering if your long held dream of travelling with your spouse during retirement isn’t putting off something you should do now.

Sometimes you find videos of families living in a travel trailer, and a crazy thought enters your mind, “what if I’m not crazy.”

Spoiler alert. You ARE crazy. Maaaaaybe just crazy enough.

Sometimes you realize that while you can put seven people in a mini-van, they don’t actually make them big enough to put 5 car-seats and booster seats. So you think, maybe the van upgrade we were planning on for next year needs to happen this year.

So you search the whole country until you finally find ONE in the whole country that meets your specs, but it’s in Regina. So you have to get it shipped half-way across the country. And when it shows up, you laugh because it is comically big.

Sometimes you think, if you have the van you were planning on getting next year, maybe you should also buy the trailer you were thinking of getting next year now as well.

So you do.

And then you book a campsite all the way on the other end of the country, and start planning.

Is it a bad idea? Almost assuredly.

Will it work?…….we’ll see.
